deposits & payments
Reservations are not secure without a deposit, equivalent to one night before taxes and fees. Some packages may require additional deposits, and may be non-refundable. Deposits can be paid by credit card, cash, or check. Remaining balance is due upon departure. Remaining balance can be paid by credit card, cash, check, gift certificate, and/or gift card.
Gift certificates and gift cards must be presented in person to be redeemed.
Cancellations
Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. However, we try to be as flexible as possible when cancelling or rescheduling your plans.
More than 14 days in advance: We are happy to apply your deposit to a future stay within 90 days of your originally intended arrival date, or you may choose to receive a 90% refund.
Less than 14 days in advance: The deposit is non-refundable. We will attempt to cancel any packages or pre-ordered services, though some may be non-refundable.
Within 72-hours of arrival: Cancellations or requests to shorten your stay within 72-hours of your originally intended arrival are not accepted, and subject to the remaining balance charged to the credit card on file. We will attempt to cancel any packages or pre-ordered services, though some may be non-refundable.
No-shows or early departures: Should you check in but depart earlier than your originally confirmed check-out date, or not arrive for your reservation at all, you will be responsible for all nights originally reserved. We will attempt to cancel any packages or pre-ordered services, though some may be non-refundable.
Rescheduled stays may be subject to different rates or nightly minimum requirements. Please contact us directly with questions regarding reservation cancellations and changes.
Check-in
Check-in begins at 4 p.m. If you should arrive earlier, every effort will be made to accommodate you as soon as possible. The front desk is open until 7 p.m. daily, after which time our restaurant staff will be happy to assist you.
Check-out
Check out is by 11 a.m., though you are welcome to enjoy the Lodge grounds after you have vacated your accommodation.
Specified accommodations
Many of our guests have a favorite cabin or yurt that they always prefer to stay in. However, in order to maximize our booking calendar for other guests, we prefer having the flexibility to place you ourselves within the different room categories (Premier/Forest/King Standard/Queen Standard Cabins and Yurts). To guarantee a specific cabin or yurt number, we charge a $25 Specified Accommodation Fee, per room. Without this fee applied, requests can still be made but unfortunately not guaranteed.
Inclement weather
As a four-season destination, we are open year-round and in all weather. In winter weather, the Lodge road is often only passable by 4WD or AWD vehicles. Please call before arriving to check road conditions.
